Summary
In the medical system of the future, individuals will be able to monitor their personal health independent of time or location, enabling early detection of chronic diseases. To this end, SAIT is currently developing a device to reveal appropriate health indices for chronic disease management, as well as to enable a ubiquitous healthcare system by which people can measure their health indices, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, etc., that was previously restricted to specialized locations or facilities.
Core Technologies
Bio-Signal Sensing technology
Research in bio-Signal Sensing is to develop technology to measure the major vital signs in new ways, such as noninvasively or noncontactly or nonintrusively, which gives the users more convenience.
Bio-Signal Processing technology
Bio-signal processing technology is an area analyzing and processing various types of physiological signals.
Health Index Search
U-Health system accumulates the individual health data continuously and longitudinally, which is revolutionary in health science. By analyzing the accumulated health data, new health indices can be discovered. Health index search includes uncovering new health indicators and diagnosing and predicting disease.
